Property Description The owners asked for a house that would blend wonderfully into the glorious Languedoc landscape and their architect and landscape designer produced exactly this for them 30 years ago. They have cared lovingly for it ever since and this home is really a joy to visit. Simplicity is part of the mix so the skyline of the house is modest and the interior is sympathetically laid out for easy living and comfort with walk through spaces and an abundance of terraces. The grounds of just under a hectare are full of classic Mediterranean plants and shrubs, there is a fruit orchard with almond, olive and apricot trees, and a pine wood.The house is reached through electronic gates and up a gentle slope through the orchard. Back on the ground floor a few steps up lead you to a wing with 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a small entrance lobby and opens onto the front southfacing terrace and also onto a side terrace shared with the kids bedroom. The photos illustrate clearly the sunny southfacing aspect of the house with terraces all along and a glassed-in conservatory. The pool is 10 m x 5 ms with roman steps and a ladder and cleaning equipment. There is a barbecue area here, and plenty of seating areas throughout the garden. Water for the house and garden is from a 'forage' and there are automatic watering systems in place. The whole of the property is securely enclosed.
