This most impressive former wine domain has history going back to the 11th/12th century when it was part of a Knights Templar Commanderie. The imposing three story building is of stone with a corner tower. The ground floor consists of a large entrance hall, but the rest of the floor needs complete restoration. The accommodation is on the first floor but is very dated and needs complete renovation. The top floor consists of attics which again need restoration. Outside there are several agricultural barns. From the stone-built carport there is a lift to the first floor. At present just the first floor is considered habitable space, but there is upwards of 700m² total available. This property would make an ideal addition to the similar, but restored hotel next door if more rooms were required to enlarge the existing hotel or to create a country club, health spa, etc. See reference 5047 three-star hotel.
